As the developer of CallGenie, we understand the importance of staying connected with your elderly loved ones. That’s why we include 12 Months Warranty and Support with the purchase of our innovative video calling device.
You can extend this warranty and support up to 36 months, from the date of initial purchase. You can buy this at any time up to 12 months after purchase – we’ll send you a reminder in case you forget.
What’s included in the initial 12 Months Warranty & Support?
We want to make sure that the initial installation of your CallGenie appliance goes smoothly and it keeps working well for as long as you need it.
We include the following in the inclusive 12 months warranty and support package :
- Installation support to carry out the initial configuration of your CallGenie Appliance with the end user’s specified television (1) .
- Adding additional contacts to the Skype address book
- Keeping the CallGenie Software up to date
- Remote support to address any performance and reliability issues that may arise
- Replacement of any faulty parts(2) supplied as part of your CallGenie Appliance for a period of 12 months from your initial purchase.
What’s included in the Extended 36 Months Warranty & Support?
After the initial 12 months of inclusive warranty and support, you can extend your warranty and support up to the third anniversary of your initial purchase. You will
- Adding additional contacts to the Skype address book
- Keeping the CallGenie Software up to date
- Remote support to address any performance and reliability issues that may arise
- Replacement of any faulty parts(2) supplied as part of your CallGenie Appliance for a period of 36 months from your initial purchase.
What support do I get after my Warranty and Support expires?
You will still get the following support after your Warranty Support expires:
- Keeping the CallGenie Software up to date (at least until the 5th anniversary of your initial purchase of a CallGenie Appliance)
- Preferential prices for replacing faulty hardware components (subject to availability)
- Access to paid support services to keep your CallGenie Appliance running
Notes
- If you change the end user’s television, or add/remove devices connected to the television (e.g. set top boxes, DVD/Bluray players, streaming sticks etc), the configuration performed by Smart Life Solutions will be chargeable in units of 30 minutes up to a maximum of 60 minutes.
- Faulty parts include those parts identified by Smart Life Solutions that require to be replaced to return the CallGenie Appliance to full working order after a failure. However, we won’t replace any parts, free of charge, which no longer function due to physical damage, accidental or otherwise.
