Please read the following to make sure that you, or the person you are claiming for, are entitled to  VAT relief for disabled:

The following qualifies as chronically sick or disabled:

 

  • You have a physical or mental impairment which has a long-term and substantial adverse effect upon your ability to carry out everyday activities.
  • You have a condition that the medical profession treats as a chronic sickness, such as diabetes or Alzheimer’s disease. It does not include an elderly person who is not disabled or chronically sick or any person who is only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb. If you are unsure, you should seek guidance from your GP or other medical professional.
  • You have a terminal illness

Please note that Smart Life Solutions is required by HMRC to keep a record of all customers who have applied for VAT relief for the disabled. Their names , addresses and details of their disabilities may be shared with HMRC upon request.

 

To get VAT relief for disabled on your purchase, please follow these three steps (using the same email address each time).

Step 2 - Wait for Confirmation

 

Your application will processed automatically and you will receive an email confirmation from CallGenie Support (UK). If you don’t receive this email within 5 minutes, please check your junk mailbox.  

 

Step 3 - Place Your Order

 

Finally, once you have received email confirmation from us, select the product you would like to purchase and proceed to Checkout to place your order. VAT won’t be charged.

 

Please note that at Checkout you must use the same email that was used in Step 1. Otherwise, you will be charged VAT.
